Amy Louise Acker is an American actress. She portrays Caitlin Strucker on FOX's The Gifted.
Biography[]
Amy was born on December 5, 1976 in Dallas, Texas to a house wife mother and a lawyer father. She studied dance for 13 years before turning her attention to acting. She graduated from Lake Highlands High School, and subsequently earned a bachelor's degree in theater from Southern Methodist University. She's also done a bit of modeling. During her junior year, she modeled for J. Crew catalog, and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the same year, as she worked as a stage actress.
She had numerous guest appearance and minor roles on such television shows as To Serve and Protect, Wishbone, Alias, and Person of Interest. She even appeared in a short film or two, all this leading her to undoubtedly her biggest role as Winifred Burkle on The WB's Angel.
