Pedro is a recurring character on FOX's The Gifted. He is a mutant with the ability to evoke fear, as well as a member of the Mutant Underground.

Season 1[]
In "eXposed", Pedro is briefly seen holding a rifle and guarding the gate asThunderbird and Eclipse bring the new arrival, Blink to the Mutant Underground Headquarters.
Pedro stops Marcos and Caitlin
In "rX", it's revealed that Pedro has the ability to project fear onto others and uses this ability to create a field of fear around the Mutant safe house protecting it from any intruders. Pedro used this ability on any humans who came too close to the headquarters. As seen when Caitlin Strucker approached the safe house with Eclipse and began to feel uneasy and insist they turn around while he felt nothing.
In "X-roads", while on lookout, Pedro spots Sentinel Services on the nearby road. He tries to project fear and terror onto the agents, but they overcome it. So Pedro alerts the others.
Pedro at the Mutant Way Station
Later that night, in Nashville, Tennessee, the Underground has regrouped at the Mutant Way Station. Pedro sits alongside Andy as John and Marcos announce that they need to start thinking about next steps, like rebuilding. With Headquarters gone, a lot of people have nowhere to go. It's not about the building. It's about the network and the people in it. However, others, like Sage, Shatter and Fade have their doubt that it's even possible to start from nothing and they worry that that anything that they build, Sentinel Services is just going to smash it again. As Marcos explains that the X-Men did this knowing it would take struggle and sacrifice, Lorna and Esme interrupt to recruit people to join them as they rebuild the Hellfire Club, among those to join them are Sage, Fade, Bulk and Andy.

Physical Appearance[]
Initially, Pedro appeared to have light-blue skin, big black eyes, pointy ears, slicked-back hair and a goatee of matching color to his skin. However, in his later appearances, Pedro seems to take on a darker skin tone, closer to grey than blue.
Abilities and Skills[]
- Fear Projection: Pedro possesses the ability to project fear and terror onto others, causing them to become frightened when within his proximity. His ability makes him the perfect guard as he uses it to create a barrier around the Mutant Underground Headquarters causing anyone who approaches it to become uneasy and avoid the area, protecting them from intruders. This ability was first demonstrated on Caitlin Strucker, who immediately felt the effects of Pedro's ability as she and Eclipse approached the facility, going into a state of panic and insisting they turn around.
- Limitations: If someone has already experienced their greatest fear, or can overcome their fear, Pedro's ability can be thwarted. This is seen when Pedro tries to repel a group of Sentinel Services agents, but fails because Jace Turner overcomes his fear.
