The Brotherhood was a mutant terrorist organization that sought mutant supremacy and had ties to the Hellfire Club.

History[]

The Brotherhood was a mutant supremacist organization that sought mutant supremacy through terrorism. Growing up, Polaris saw news reports of her biological father and the Brotherhood on television and how they were seen as “monsters”. [1] The Brotherhood also had ties to another mutant supremcist organization called the Hellfire Club.

After the Purifiers drove her away from Clark County, Blink found other like-minded mutants who were fighting against mutant persecution. Although these mutants were members of the Brotherhood, Blink did not join their ranks, but helped them with some of their operations. When they tried to get her to do things that she was not willing to comply with, Blink cut her ties with the Brotherhood. [2]

Legacy[]

By 2017, the existence of the Brotherhood was unknown to the Mutant Underground. [3] Before disappearing, the Brotherhood left behind considerable wealth and resources to the modern day Hellfire Club to continue their goals and ideals for mutant supremacy. [2]
